Lyn is author or co-author of  nearly 20 books, including: Your Legacy, Your Life; The Trust Equation; and Financial Savvy for the Small Business Owner. Additionally she has contributed articles to numerous industry publications. Previously, Lyn was associate publisher of Bank Investment Representative and co-publisher of Transitions magazines.

GINA LAUER has more than 25 years of writing and editing experience in the financial services industry. She is a regular contributor to BISA Magazine, a publication of the Bank Insurance & Securities Association, where she writes about everything from marketing tips to cutting-edge technology. She also has served as ghostwriter for a well-known industry speaker/coach.

Previously Gina was managing editor of Bank Investment Representative, the first magazine for brokers and managers in the financial institutions channel. Prior to that, she worked at various newspapers as a reporter, copy editor and news editor. She now lives in Reno, Nevada: “The Biggest Little City in the World.”

NICOLE COULTER is an award-winning writer—with 22 years’ experience in financial services journalism and digital media. Her insightful columns on marketing and practice management have appeared in professional journals such as RIA Central, Horsesmouth, and Registered Rep

Nicole holds a degrees in journalism and political science as well as earning her MBA. As the founder of Gameplan Copywriting, she researches and composes persuasive marketing content for independent healthcare and financial professionals. Her clients know they can count on her for persuasive copy for print, web, audio, video, and social media—helping financial professionals and niche public relations firms create successful branding campaigns.

GIL WEINREICH has worked in the financial-advisor arena since 1997, as editor-in-chief of Research Magazine (and contributor to its ThinkAdvisor website) for 18 years and as Seeking Alpha’s senior editor for financial advisor content and producer of its “SA for FAs” podcast for four years. The New York State Society of CPAs twice awarded its prestigious Excellence in Financial Journalism award to him for a monthly column he wrote on business ethics.

Previously, Gil reported on international news for Voice of America (where he was awarded a newsroom writing award) and prior to that he worked as an editorial assistant at U.S. News and World Report. Apart from books he has written in his own name, he currently works on ghostwriting and other client editorial projects.

SYDNEY LEBLANC is a 40-year financial services industry journalist, author, publisher and marketer. She was the founding editor of Registered Representative magazine in 1976 and in 1993, as editor in chief, she led the development of Securities Industry Management magazine, the first publication for branch managers. Later, she co-published Transitions magazine, a digital publication dedicated to providing information to wirehouse and non-wirehouse advisors about transitioning and the realities of “running a business.”

Sydney is also a writing coach and marketing consultant for industry trainers and financial advisors. She is the author or co-author of 25 books including, Legacy: The History of Separately Managed Accounts; Independent Business Ownership, Bullish Thinking for Advisors; Bullish Thinking for Managers; Streetwise Investor, and others.
